This is it. WARWICK.

So everyone, today was the big day where the family and I drove to Warwick to check it out and to start moving into our new house. Let's just say both my sister and I cried. Balled our eyes out more like it. Anyway, we got there after our friggen two and a half drive there, and looked at our new house. To be honest, I actually think the house is kind of nice, but the town that surrounds it, good god.

After we checked out the house, we drove around Warwick in general. The 'city' of Warwick was one street of small shops like Salvos, Aldi, A O K Clothing (what the hell!), and many other weird stores which I would never ever set foot in. Amber and I promised to do all our shopping back in Brisbane. With occasion outbursts from dad "THIS IS YOUR NEW LIFE!" whenever a 'cowboy/pedo' walked past, I started to feel really uneasy about this. This was a country bumpkin town. It wasn't me at all.

Me and my sister Amber literally almost pissed our pants when dad stopped at the Warwick cinemas. Amber and I thought it would be great, you know, going to the movies on the weekend, and chilling out. Boy, we were wrong indeed. The cinema was a house. We walked inside and found out that these cinemas only had two rooms! I couldn't belive it. What the hell had I got myself into. Immediately I thought of Dejan and the hours of pissing our pants when he would come up to visit :)

Overall, I never really appreciated how much I love Brisbane. The concrete under my feet, the smell of my local donut king, the closeness to living near my friends, and just Brisbane in general. I guess this is going to be my new life until I come back to live in Brisbane. I hope I come back soon. Really soon.

PS. Dad was making funny jokes about how nice the Warwick people dress. We then had to stop at a crossing to let an elder lady pass, and as she did, I saw that she was wearing a shirt two sizes too small and a green school girl netball skirt. That made mine and Amber's day.
